When we launched out of Beta in January 2026, we released a suite of new features like Identifier Rotation, Secondary Numbers, and Disappearing Call Logs, and saw our daily signups multiply.
These new features created a surge in new customers, who surfaced a whole new set of challenges, which we outlined in a Reddit post here.
Since then, we've made a lot of progress, including releasing our new eSIM which includes all the latest carrier partners, 2x download speeds, and more reliable port-ins and daily identifier rotations.
We are still working through some very important core features like RCS and VoWiFi. These features work on iOS right now, but there are some issues if you use them in conjunction with Identifier Rotation. We are working to resolve these conflicts and get these features (and many more) rolled out across all devices. (You can keep track of our progress here.)
Throughout it all, our early adopters have been the drivers of these improvements—providing feedback, submitting bug reports, and betting on a new vision for mobile connectivity that’s more private and secure by design. We’re acknowledging this support by discounting Cape service to $70 per month for life, for everyone who joins us this year or before.
